Reiki and What’s Happening on the Farm
For this newsletter I combine the Reiki and What’s Happening on the Farm sections because when you come to Crickhollow for a reiki session you are invited to experience the whole farm.
June is the most beautiful time of the year here. Here are some highlights:
It is looking like the hay will be good this year. Lots of warm weather and spring rains makes for lush growth.
It has been about three years now since we stopped growing the market garden. We are now experimenting with combining some of our market garden growing techniques with permaculture and my love of British gardens. Reiki clients are welcome to walk through the orchard garden and check it all out. Nibbling is encouraged!
The grapes are looking happy and full of little bunches in the greenhouse. One of our tasks is to dig out the twitch grass growing in from outside.
We have mowed under the Hawthorn. Folklore says that Hawthorns may be portals to fairy land! Whether you believe in fairies or not, it is a lovely spot to sit and day dream.
Everyone is welcome to walk the labyrinth. The more it is walked, the softer the path becomes.
If you are up for a longer walk, follow the hedgerow path past the labyrinth to the woods.
Reiki sessions are $60 for one hour. To make an appointment email rosemary@crickhollow.ca.

Save the date! We are so very excited to announce that Heather Saumer is preparing a musical experience to share with you in the barn on Saturday July 20. Tickets go on sale July 4 in the July new moon newsletter.
Heather Saumer is a trombonist, multi-instrumentalist, singer, composer, mover, thinker, wonderer, noticer, collaborator. She has a MMus in Jazz from UofT, and also works as a Gestalt Psychotherapist, Tuning Fork Therapist, Yoga Nidra instructor, music teacher, and group facilitator. A versatile performer, she is as comfortable singing country songs as she is improvising, playing Jazz/Contemporary Classical ensembles, or dancing with tall grasses.
